Our word 'mandala' comes from the Sanskrit word for circle. The circle is a unifying structure visible throughout our natural world. These illustrated Vibrational Mandalas are intended to provide additional pathways to awareness, happiness, and peace, and assist us with sensing the inherent value in all.
In 2001, I began my studies in Sound Therapy. In my exploration of sound and vibration, I began to capture these Vibrational Mandalas. Our word 'mandala' comes from the Sanskrit word for circle. The circle is a unifying structure visible throughout our natural world. A mandala represents wholeness, and may be viewed as a model for the organizational structure of life itself - a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds. Traditionally, mandalas incorporate symmetry and geometric patterns, often rosettes. Similar natural images include spider webs, the petals of a rose, or a spiral galaxy. Mathematicians may refer to epitroichoids or hypotrochoids (such as those made by a SpiroGraph). The designs of these Mandalas came to me through toning, prayer, and meditation. They are a gift to me, which I share with you. I understand their purpose to be for blessing and healing those who interact with them. As you view these images, you may feel a resonance with one or more mandalas. If so, I believe a mandala is 'speaking to you' vibrationally. My intent is to offer new pathways to awareness, happiness, peace, and health. Please feel free to visit the mandala on line as often as you like. If you would like a print version, please let me know.
